The hotel offers great value and is located in a central area close to the harbor, shopping center, and other attractions in Halifax. the rooms have a picturesque view.

The location is exceptionally nice and they have parking on site. The room is updated and fashionable with a view.

The location was unbeatable, for example, Halifax Shopping Centre was within walking distance of the hotel. Furthermore, the area was very nice.

The hotel is set in a great area near a very pretty lake. the breakfast buffet was fantastic. - the food in the lakeside restaurant was well presented.

Great staff and cleanliness, I liked this pleasant hotel. The location in a very very nice area was handy. Apart from that, Halifax Shopping Centre was 5 minutes' drive away. There also was good parking and lovely pool.

Had a lovely Christmas stay at a hotel by a beautiful lake. the lobby was gorgeously decorated with a cheerful Christmas tree. the breakfast buffet was scrumptious and had a great variety of food. We especially loved the lake view from our ground floor room and the convenience of the parking. the staff members were always friendly and helpful.

the grassy area by the water looked perfect for relaxing, but it was constantly being used as a dog walking park, which made it challenging to enjoy the view.

Our whole experience was wonderful and we will certainly recommend this location to others as well as returning ourselves

The double room has a trendy design with a separate living area, easy outdoor access, and fresh towels, plus the location is fantastic and check-in is available early.

I booked the BW Chocolate Lake Hotel because it was listed as pet friendly - and I was not disappointed. First, Cocoa, the resident chocolate lab, greeted us at the door. What a lovely dog. Second, upon approaching the registration desk, every employee was smiling and friendly - especially when they were babysitting an infant dog on the pillow behind them. Thirdly, I realize there is a charge for dog-sitting, but on 3 different occasions during my two-day stay, staff were walking pets in a very congenial manner.

The noisy room (it was near the elevator). The poor layout of the bathroom. On Saturday night, they had a wedding and there was no parking spaces anywhere on the property. Earlier, when I asked the clerk, they said that was never a problem, but we found out different. The musty smell in the room.

I have stayed at this hotel many times but this was the first time in the motel section. Very nice! The staff at the desk and the restaurant are excellent. We will always stay if we can.

Nothing except the price but then it was excellent value for the money.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-15 minute walk from Halifax Shopping Centre. the room was amazing, equipped with a fridge, ironing set, and coffee/tea makers.

The staff were superb! they were welcoming and friendly - even that staff that were extremely busy with a crowded breakfast room on Friday morning. we loved the view, the ample parking and the room was clean and fresh.

Wonderful hotel located close to downtown yet it has a relaxing feeling. Everything from the rooms to the breakfast plus the greeter dog made it feel like a home away from home.
